IS YOUR SITE SECURE?
Yes. We use PayPal and Stripe to process all of our transactions. The same service that guarantees purchases done on eBay. If you decide to make a purchase from us, you will be redirected to the secure, PayPal server. From this point on, all of your sensitive data (such as your name, address, and credit or debit card details) are encrypted.
This means that anybody trying to intercept your payment instructions will see a scrambled message (they will NOT see any of your sensitive data). The methods used to scramble the data are referred to as “strong”: this means that unscrambling the message is virtually impossible.
Because our transactions are handled by PayPal, we are not privy to your card details at any time. PayPal simply send us an e-mail containing all the information that we need to know, in order to complete your order (your name and transaction ID).
In the address bar at the top of your browser, you will currently see the letters “http://” before the Internet address for this page (see this browser address bar).
This stands for Hyper Text Transfer Protocol, the language that is used to pass information (such as this web page) around the Internet.
When you arrive at the PayPal site, you will see that this changes to “https://”. The s stands for secure. It means that all of your sensitive data, such as your name, e-mail address and (most importantly) your credit card details, will be encrypted before they’re sent from your computer to PayPal. This means that anybody trying to intercept your payment instructions will see a scrambled message; they will not see any of your sensitive data.
Your personal details, and any other information that we collect (either from PayPal or via our own Contact Forms), will be treated in the strictest of confidence; they will not be divulged to any third party without your prior consent.
